Our Story
At Dyslexia Assessments UK, we understand that dyslexia is unique to each individual. That’s why we offer personalised assessments for children, young people, and adults using the latest dyslexia tools. We believe that screening and assessment can provide vital tools to understand dyslexia. Our customised report provides a range of strategies tailored to your specific needs, helping you to improve the impact of dyslexia.

Please note we are not educational psychologists. We always recommend if you are getting a child tested, check with your child’s school SENCo first- as some schools will only accept an educational psychologist or a specialist teacher assessment.
We use, in our opinion, the best and newest tool – Tests of Dyslexia™️ (ToD), which was approved for inclusion on the Pre-16 and test lists by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) in May 2024 for UK use.
Our Clinical Director, Linus Dignam, is a qualified Teacher and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, GMBPsS (139874). As a Registered Qualified Test User (RQTU) with the BPS, he is on the British Psychological Society’s Register of Qualifications in Test Use
Linus was assessed as dyslexic by Aston University’s dyslexia unit in 1980.
